AMC Leaders and LITs are invited to a skills and mentoring day to build the skills needed to lead Level One flatwater canoe outings. Join us for a day at Ponkapoag Pond in the Blue Hills with the focus of learning about the resource, fulfilling basic water safety, and making paddling fun! We welcome Leaders from any Chapter or Volunteer led Camp or Cabin as well as AMC members who plan to attend one of the scheduled Leadership Trainings this spring. We encourage 20s&30s and Family Outings Leaders in particular to explore this new opportunity! Our instructors will orient you to the available canoes and other necessary equipment you will have access to as an AMC Leader as well as great locations. $10.00 per person - Bring own lunch and snacks 8AM-5PM After registration is accepted, payment will be prompted and medical questionnaire submitted electronically. Identical training happening on June 16th as well.
