Spring is here and warmer, sunnier days will be here soon. Are you tired of being indoors and can't wait to go hiking. We are here to help you with that! We will cover everything you need to know to become a Local Hiker - either a brand new hiker or someone who wants to dust off your hiking boots and get back out on the trails. It's free and you get the added bonus of joining us on a 4 - 5 mile hike through the woodland trails of the Blue Hills. We will send out an Information Sheet to registered participants with everything you need to know about this outdoor Workshop and Hike several days before the event. The leaders for this Workshop/Hike are Bob Vogel, John Schepis and. Joanne Newton. Pam Richardson is helping with registrations. So, sign up and come get ready to hike! You do not have to be an AMC member to join this activity. Please no pets. You will need shoes with sturdy soles; water and lunch/snacks; a light jacket in case of rainy weather; and a small backpack to carry everything.
