Overview

Join us for a four day/three night stay on Martha's Vineyard to welcome in the summer season. We'll be staying at Martha's Vineyard Family Campground just outside of Vineyard Haven, where you can choose to stay in a shared 6-person cabin or pitch your own tent. Electricity and water are conveniently available to both. Take the ferry from Woods Hole to the Vineyard on Monday. On Tuesday and Wednesday, we'll lead longer bike rides to the ends of the island. Or feel free to meander on your own into town or to the beach. Food is on your own. You can bring your own (each cabin has a small refrigerator and propane grill), or hit the restaurants in town. Fees for the trip cover lodging only. Food, ferry, parking, and ground transportation are extra. The lodging cost for the trip is $110 to stay in a cabin, or $65 for a spot to set up your tent.

In 2006 I discovered the joy of cycling and since then I have cycled the 12,000 mile outer perimeter of the Continental US on a bicycle. While extended rides are enjoyable, a bicycle ride need not be an epic journey. A few hours to a few days cycling in the company of like minded travelers to a local destinations is always a rewarding pleasure. Come join us.
