Overview

Join the Family Outings committee for a 3-mile late afternoon out-and-back family hike along the shore of beautiful Farrar Pond, just around the corner from its more famous cousin, Walden Pond. The trail is narrow and has some steep sections, so please have experience in this kind of terrain. We will move at a moderately slow pace as we enjoy the birds, swans, and two beaver dams. Families who wish to bring a baby in a backpack are welcome to join us as well. Confirmed participants will be sent emailed directions a minimum of 36 hours prior to trip time.
