You are invited to join us as part of a National and Connecticut Trails Day event--a trail building work party on the Appalachian Trail in Sherman CT. The work party will be building rock stairs on the AT just north of CT Route 55. We will meet at 9:00 AM at the AT Hiker parking lot on CT Route 55. No experience is necessary, only a desire to give back and leave your mark, a rock step or two, for others to enjoy. Bring work gloves, lunch, and plenty of water. All tools and training will be provided. To ensure there are enough tools, everyone is required to register at Appalachian Mountain Club - Event Listings (outdoors.org) IMPORTANT!!!
