Join us on a family-friendly hike on the upper loop of the Chatfield Trail in Forster Pond State Park. REGISTRATION REQUIRED. This hike is a nice choice for those who might be new to hiking, or for those who are looking for a shorter hike that still provides interesting natural features and a moderate challenge. Please note: This trail is NOT part of Chatfield Hollow State Park. Specific details about meeting/parking location and time will be emailed the day before the hike to all who are registered. This trail is approximately 2.5 miles long. It offers rock ledges and scrambles, rock caves, and some modest (370 feet) elevation gains. It is considered "moderately challenging."
