Two nights of camping on a Maine island and paddling the Sheepscot and Kennebec rivers. Tides are favorable for a circumnavigation of Georgetown island. We'll also explore Oven mouth and/or Porters preserve on the Sheepscot. This is a level 3 trip. The rivers are protected from ocean swells, but expect significant tidal currents. You need to be capable of paddling 20nm at a moderate pace (3kt). Experience packing gear and kayak camping is desired (contact leader). There is an Intro to Kayak Camping the prior weekend.
