This is an approx. 5 mile hike over a variety of terrain with some stream crossings. The rewards are beautiful views, interesting rocks/stonewalls and an observation platform. Please bring at least 1 quart/liter of water, a trail snack and wear sturdy hiking boots/shoes. Rain cancels hike. Meet at 9:45 AM for a prompt departure from the commuter parking lot (CPL) off Route 9 at Exit 5 (formerly Exit 4). NOTE: The trail head has very limited parking hence we are meeting at the CPL and carpooling to the trail head, a short distance down the road. Any questions call or text either hike leader before 9:00 PM or after 7:00 AM, day of hike.
