Join the park interpreter for some exercise along Holyoke's canals and beyond. This is a leisurely walk. We stroll along the first level canal to its intersection with the second level canal. Here we overlook the Holyoke dam complex. A return trip along the second level canal on Race street brings us full circle. 2.0 miles total. Dress for the weather. Severe weather cancels. Meet at the Visitor Center.

Park for free in the 221 Appleton Street parking lot. Follow the sidewalk on foot, into the park, passing the Merry-Go-Round. Veer left at the sidewalk fork up to the Visitor Center.
