Join us for a Memorial Day hike to Mts. Cardigan (3,121') and Firescrew (3,040'). Weather-permitting, we will be awarded with a panoramic 360 degree view at Mt. Cardigan, one of the 52 WAVs. The hike is approximately 5 miles with an elevation of 1890 ft. Most of the hike features moderate grades; however, participants should expect some short scrambles and steep ledges. Details of the meeting location and time will be sent to the confirmed participants. Prospective participants should have completed a hike of similar elevation gain and distance within the preceding month. To address unforeseen challenges such as adverse weather, unacceptable trail conditions or excessive crowding, the planned trip destination, activity and/or meeting place and time may be modified. In that event, participants may elect to join in that activity or opt out.
