First preference for this hike will be given to those who attended the Spring Workshops on May 11, 2024. If space is available 4 days before each hike, registrations for others will be approved and you will receive a confirming email. An Information Sheet will be sent to all confirmed hikers. F Gilbert Hills is a 1000 acre state forest located in Foxboro with approximately 23 miles of trails for us to choose from. The hike will be 5 - 6 miles with about 700 feet of elevation gain. The duration will be about 4 hours, depending on the speed of our group. . Weather: Thunderstorms will delay, cancel, or shorten trips. Same for extreme winds. Rain? That's why you will always bring a raincoat. We won't cancel because of rain. So, come and explore with us! It is always fun to 'take a walk in the woods'.
