In order to comply with Pennsylvania Youth Protection Laws, all children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. This policy applies for all events offered by the Delaware Valley Chapter as well as any other chapter events within the state of Pennsylvania.

Overview

This hike is rated as Moderate for pace and distance, but there will be some ups and downs over 8,2 miles, with 1500+ feet elevation gain. Cushetunk Mountain Preserve is located in Readington, NJ, adjacent to Round Valley Reservoir. Terrain ranges from flat open park land to wooded hillsides. This hike will bypass the ridge scramble. We will meet in the parking lot at Pickell Park (GPS coordinates: 40.607910, -74.778735) at 9:00 am. Bring water, snacks/lunch, and suitable footwear. No dogs. Steady rain will cancel the hike.
