In order to comply with Pennsylvania Youth Protection Laws, all children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. This policy applies for all events offered by the Delaware Valley Chapter as well as any other chapter events within the state of Pennsylvania.

Overview

Join us for fun and camaraderie in the snow! Cross-country ski and/or snowshoe in the beautiful Keene Valley-Lake Placid area. We will take both lodges at Rock & River which is situated at the Jack Rabbit trailhead. Cross-country ski or snowshoe right from the door! Both lodges have a full kitchen. There are several options to ski and explore this beautiful winter wonderland: Mt. Van Hoevenberg Cross Country Ski, Cascades Ski Center, Scotts Cobble Nordic Center and Paul Smith's VIC. Ski rentals available. Take a break and spend some time in lovely Lake Placid. Après-ski gathering, followed by pre-arranged pot-luck dinners and of course, games and socializing to follow. Lodging for three nights approximately $225/pp; a non-refundable $50/deposit is required to hold your reservation. All linens and firewood provided. Bring breakfast/lunch fixings and appropriate gear. Contact leader to register and for additional information.
