Overview

Enjoy this delightful ride with a friendly group. The route passes beautiful historic homes and nature areas, and has some nice long straight-away segments. We'll do a pace of 13-15 mph and there are a few fairly steep hills. After the ride, we can go to the Dunkin Donuts next door to hang out a bit. If you're not sure what your pace is or whether this will be a good fit for you, text the ride leader in advance. There's no registration-- just show up-- but please arrive at least 15 minutes ahead to sign the required waiver. We'll start promptly at 10a Be sure to download the RidewithGPS; there won't be printed cue sheets. Bring water, a spare inner tube, rear light and a helmet (the latter two are required). We'll gather at the back of 1172 Beacon St., Newton (it's a red brick condo building with a long driveway; parking is free, but please park only in the back). There's a restroom at the Dunkin Donuts next door at 1148 Beacon St., Newton. If the weather is poor the ride will be canceled the night before, so check back here before leaving in the morning. If it's canceled the AMC system will delete this ride posting altogether. Text the ride leader if you're unclear.
