Enjoy the only late summer West River dam release weekend with a Class 2 paddle! If time allows, we might do 2 runs in the same day. Participate in a peaceful river trip or practice skills in rapids. Trip participants should have prior class II whitewater paddling experience, boat control in fast moving water and knowledge of both wet exits & self rescue techniques. Boats must be suitable for whitewater. AMC boat rentals are available for $40. Looking for lodging? We have 2 sites booked at the Jamaica State Park Campground. Spots are limited, cost will be dependent upon the number of people confirmed at each site. Register by 9/14/24; specific logistics will be emailed closer to the trip.
