Join us for a weekend of fresh air and fun while helping maintain the trails that provide access to the woods and waters of Maine's magnificent 100 Mile Wilderness. We'll stay at AMC's Little Lyford Lodge and Cabins, enjoying the comforts of a spacious bunkhouse, hot showers, relaxing sauna, and home-cooked meals. Working around both Little Lyford and nearby Gorman Chairback Lodge and Cabins, we'll perform basic trail maintenance--cleaning drainages, clearing blowdowns, and trimming vegetation--as well as other tasks needed to get the lodges ready for the winter season. Jobs will be easy to moderate, and all tools and training are provided--no experience necessary! Please note that since this is an October trip, scorching sun, thunderstorms, and biting flies are not included. Registration is required for this activity. Once your registration is approved you will be provided a confirmation number and instructions for booking your stay at Little Lyford.
