You asked and we delivered! AMC Boston 20s & 30s annual fall trip to Three Mile Island (TMI) filled out in record time and we have acquired more cabins for a second weekend from September 20-22. No further TMI Weekends are expected to be posted for this year, so here's your chance! AMC's Three Mile Island (TMI) is set up as a rest and relaxation camp. Built on a tradition of simplicity, participants enjoy canoeing, kayaking, sitting by their cabin, playing games, and having a grand ole time! Situated on an island of 43 rocky woodland acres, TMI on Lake Winnipesaukee offers a delightful recreational experience in the heart of New Hampshire's lake district. Sleeping consists of quaint 2-person cabins right on the water's edge. Wake up to the sounds of loons and beautiful sunrises! Most meals are provided and are served family style in a warm, social atmosphere. A great opportunity to escape modern stresses, campers agree to keep electronic devices in their own cabins, freeing themselves to enjoy nature, good food, and great company. Waitlisted individuals with an AMC membership from Week 1 (see original posting here: https://activities.outdoors.org/search/index.cfm/action/details/id/151048) will be given first priority until Wednesday, July 31, 2024. After of which, the remaining cabins will be opened waitlisted individuals without an AMC membership until Friday, August 2, 2024. TMI Weekend 2 will then be opened for general registration. If you are on the waiting list and have not sent in your AMC membership information or would like register as a member please notify the team by Monday, July 29, 2024. By registering for Weekend 2, individuals may no longer remain on the waitlist for Weekend 1. Participants can choose to stay on the Weekend 1 waitlist instead of registering for Weekend 2 (no notification needed). This trip sells out every year, so sign up as soon as possible!
