Overview

As part of the Maine Chapter FallFest & Annual Gathering, take part in a unique, two-hour interpretive walk led by Tom Wessels-an esteemed ecologist, author, and educator. Tom will share his deep knowledge of local ecology, providing fascinating insights into the natural history and conservation of the area. This is a rare opportunity to explore the landscape with an expert. •. Registration Opens: September 20 at 6:00 AM •. Location: To be announced as we meet for carpooling •. Cost: $15 per person •. Participant Limit: 20 (Space is limited, so sign up early!) Please be prepared for uneven terrain, including rocky and rooted surfaces, as well as narrow, confined trails. Sturdy footwear and cautious footing are strongly recommended. Carpooling is Required: Parking is extremely limited, so participants will need to carpool in groups of 4 to 5. We will meet at Camp Wavus at 12:30 PM and carpool from there. Due to parking constraints, no exceptions can be made to this carpool requirement.
