Overview

Why is Mt. Washington called the "Home of the World's Worst Weather?" Come learn about the unique life and work of the weather observers stationed on Mt. Washington and why, for a mountain its size, Mt Washington hosts some of the worst weather on Earth. Program will be live from the summit by Francis Tarasiewicz, meteorologist for the Mount Washington Observatory . Location: Northboro Historical Society, 52 Main St. (Rt.20) - parking lot on School St. Doors open at 6:30. Dinner at 7:00. Speakers shortly after. Bring a dish to share - appetizer, entree, dessert, or beverage. Registration is not required, and all are welcome: members, non-members, families, visitors & guests.
