Overview

This paddling trip is part of the All For Fall day at Noble View Outdoor Center. After checking out the new All Person's Trail and enjoying music and snacks at Noble View, join the Paddling Committee at Russell Pond on the Camp Moses property at 2:00 pm for a leisurely paddle. We will have accommodations for those with minor mobility issues who wish to try out our new transfer bench for entering and exiting a kayak. You may bring your own canoe or kayak, or use a boat from Camp Moses. Participants are required to wear a PFD (lifejacket) at all times while on the water and stay in a group with the trip leaders.

Deb has been hiking and paddling in New England for over 40 years. She was a whitewater trip leader for AMC in the 1980s and currently leads flatwater and quickwater trips. She paddles kayaks, tandem and solo canoes and holds an instructor certification from the American Canoe Association in Level 1 kayaking and Level 2 tandem canoeing. Her interests are river paddling, canoe camping, hiking, backpacking, and cross country skiing.
