We will be meeting at 9:45 AM on Saturday, December 7, at the Newcomb Hollow Beach Parking Lot. This is a wooded 4.5 mile hike around numerous ponds, an excellant ocean view from cliffs, and a short beach walk. From Rte 6 in Wellfleet go right on Lecount Hollow Rd to the end at the beach gatehouse. Then left on Ocean View Rd for 3.3 miles where it ends at the Newcomb Hollow Beach Parking Lot. Wear sturdy hiking footwear, clothing layers, rain gear. Bring water, hiking poles if desired, tick/mosquito repellent. Unfortunately, last minute unexpected events most often weather forces us to cancel an event at the last minute. Please check hike postings on the day of the hike to insure it is still happening.
