Celebrate National Public Lands day! Families are welcome on this 2 hour walk on the Lane and Peabody Conservation Areas in Lunenburg, MA. These beautiful forested lands protect the Mulpus Brook watershed and include wetlands and some hills. Closed toed shoes required. Bring water, snacks, and some layers. Bug spray might be a good idea. We will visit the Peabody Conservation area first and have a visit to Mulpus Brook. Then we will pass back through the parking lot as we go to explore some of the Lane trails. Lane Conservation Area is protected by the Town of Lunenburg. Peabody Conservation Area is protected by the North County Land Trust.
