Please note:
In order to comply with Pennsylvania Youth Protection Laws, all children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. This policy applies for all events offered by the Delaware Valley Chapter as well as any other chapter events within the state of Pennsylvania.

Overview

We will start at Frenchtown, NJ and hike across the bridge to the PA side, accessing the Delaware Canal towpath up to Upper Black Eddy, PA. Approximately 8 miles. Optional lunch at the Homestead Restaurant in Upper Black Eddy and return to Frenchtown. We will walk through Giving Pond area on our way to Upper Black Eddy. Bring a snack, water and lunch if you don't plan to buy lunch at the Homestead. The Frenchtown/Uhlerstown bridge is planned to be closed the entire year of 2025 so this may your last opportunity for this hike for quite a while. Meet at 10:00 am, Frenchtown, NJ, Canal parking lot near Frenchtown/Uhlerstown bridge .40.525938/-75.063132) Heavy rain cancels.
