The leave no trace principles are important to take care to leave the environment as you found it so that it continues to support your enjoyment and wellbeing year after year. Frank Wortner is a Leave No Trace Master Educator (Level 3). He is also certified as a Wilderness EMT. His wilderness escapades include various bike packing trips in New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Arizona. He has climbed to the top of Mount Washington during record mild weather, and has volunteered at the summit weather observatory there. Frank will review the 7 Leave No Trace principles and how they are applied in the backcountry. He will review some important aspects of leave no trace, including: History of the Leave No Trace organization The problems Leave No Trace solves Research coducted by Leave No Trace Leave No Trace and Inclusivity Optional topics such as Leave No Trace in everyday life
