Overview

Join us for a moderate pace of Mt Washington hike (6288') via the highly challenging Tuckerman Ravine and Lion Head trail. This is 7.6 miles with 4,242 ft elevation gain. We may change the summit or trail depending on the weather condition. Please note this hike is considered strenuous and above tree line exposure can make it extremely hazardous, as such this hike is for experienced hikers with fitness and gear to match the conditions. Hikers should have completed similar hikes, preferably in similar conditions, within the last 3 months. To address unforeseen challenges such as adverse weather, unacceptable trail conditions or excessive crowding, the planned trip destination, activity and/or meeting place and time may be modified. In that event, participants may elect to join in that activity or opt out.
