Registration is required for this activity.

Overview

Instruction on general mountain safety, clothing, equipment, nutrition, risk management, and trip planning. Includes intro to snowshoeing, and map and compass. Intended for individuals with limited experience who'd like to start winter activities safely. Anticipate hiking as much as 3 miles at a slow pace with occasional uphill grades. Workshop will begin promptly at 6:30pm Friday evening, ending Sunday afternoon around 4:00pm. Fee includes materials, lodging, excellent meals and instruction. Cost*

Adult: $290 member / $310 non-member
*Two nights at Cardigan lodge, Friday night snack, 2 breakfasts, dinner Saturday night, lunch Sunday, instruction and materials.
