Registration is required for this activity.

Overview

Instruction on general mountain safety, clothing, equipment, nutrition, risk management, and trip planning. Includes snowshoeing, and map and compass. Intended for individuals with some limited winter or hiking experience who'd like to engage in winter activities safely. Anticipate hiking as much as 4-5 miles at a moderate pace with hilly grades. Workshop will begin promptly at 6:00pm Friday evening, ending Sunday afternoon around 4:00pm. Fee includes lodging, excellent meals, materials, and instruction. Must be 18+ to attend. Adult: $290 member / $310 non-member
*2 nights at Cardigan lodge, Friday night snack, 2 breakfasts, dinner Saturday night, lunch Sunday, instruction and materials.
