Leadership and Mountain Skills is intended for those with potential and desire to become trip leaders for New Hampshire Chapter's Excursions (hiking) or Skiing Committee. It is also beneficial, for those who have good winter hiking and/or skiing skills, and wish to enhance their skills to run trips of their own. The weekend training includes exercises in planning, organizing, and conducting trips with emphasis on leadership techniques and group dynamics. Plus, basics of accident scene management, medical considerations, and off-trail navigation. Workshops will consist of one zoom meeting on about Feb 16 from 7_ 9:00 pm and outside at cardigan forest on Feb 28-March 2 starting promptly at 6:00 pm Friday and ending Sunday afternoon around 4:00 pm.
