Seeking Interest in the Executive Committee The Potomac Chapter covers DC, MD and VA. Our Executive Committee works together to offer outdoor activities, encourage conservation activities, and foster a rich community of outdoor and conservation enthusiasts. Consider joining us on our journey towards getting more people outdoors and working to protect our special places (in our neighborhoods and across our region). Do you like to introduce people to the outdoors or lead people on challenging hikes? You can become an activity leader! Do you love communicating about special places and the outdoors on social media, blog posts, or e-blasts? Join the Communications Committee! Do you love engaging with people about their outdoor interests or love of trail maintenance? Join our Conservation Committee or Membership Committee. We are entirely volunteer run and there are possibilities for all interests! We are seeking: Vice Chair, Secretary, DEI Chair, Family Outings Chair, Membership Chair, and Young Members Chair.
