Join us for a 5-mile moderate paced hike. We start at Pennypack rail to trail then hike into Pennypack preserve. Meet at 7:45am Hike starts promptly at 8 am We will hike on wide gravel/paved paths, wooded and meadow trails and some road walking. This is a moderate hike. The trail does have sections that can be a bit wet, muddy, and uneven. We'll do about 300 ft elevation. Wooded trails can be rocky. This is a morning hike so if there is a lot of dew on the grass your feet will get wet. Bring sturdy footwear and water. During the hike please don't be afraid to speak up if you need a break. This isn't a long hike, and we have plenty of time for breaks, but I'm known to just keep walking. Inclement weather may cancel hike.
