Overview

Join us for a colorful fall hike up Mt. Hale via The Firewarden's Trail. This is a challenging out-and-back hike of 6.3 miles with 2,217 ft. elevation gain. The terrain is noted to be heavily rooted. Registration is a three-step process: 1. You will complete the online registration form and liability waiver. 2. Expect to hear from one of the leaders, scheduling a conversation to discuss the hike and answer any further questions you might have. 3. Your registration will be confirmed, following approval and you will be provided detailed directions to trailhead and a gear list. In the event of inclement weather, the hike may be changed or rescheduled, and all participants will be notified. Please note that we may encounter winter-like conditions that require microspikes and extra layers of clothing.
