VFNHP Artillery Park Parking Lot off of East Inner Line Drive,
Pennsylvania, Southeastern,
PA
Come out and join Valley Forge National Historical Park (VFNHP) staff and other trail volunteers as we maintain and improve the most popular trails within the Park. We will be meeting at the Artillery Park Parking Lot located off of East Inner Line Drive. We plan to apply anti-skid tape / strips to the footbridges on the Mt. Joy Access Trail, the Knox Trail and the Mt. Misery Trail. This activity will include a limited amount of walking and the work activities will be relatively EASY. Please wear long pants and sturdy hiking or work shoes / boots (no flimsy footwear, no open toes). Bring along water, snacks and sunscreen as appropriate. Restrooms are available at Artillery Park. The Park will provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hard hats, work gloves and safety glasses, though you can bring your own if you prefer. This event is subject to change or cancellation depending on the weather. Feel free to reach out to the trip leaders with any questions.
