The training is designed to provide the foundation soft-skills and tools required for leading trips for many of the committees of the NY-NoJ chapter. Participation in the training is the first step towards leading trips; after this training you will need to complete the training requirements for your specific activity committee. Leader status will be determined by the chair of the activity committee. You do not have to be strong or fast to lead for AMC! One of the topics discussed in class is leading trips that you as a leader would be comfortable with. This is offered live on zoom free of charge.
