This is part of "trail trace series" which means we hike every step of every trail in this area. There is not much elevation, but we may encounter poison ivy and thorny areas. A moderate paced 9 mile hike, plan to be out for about 5 hours depending on the pace of the group which can vary. Wear sturdy hiking shoes/boots, moisture wicking clothing, pants recommended. Bring backpacks including lunch/snacks and at least 2 liters of water. Some areas may be wet. Steady rain/ thunderstorms cancel. No dogs allowed on the hike. The hike leaders reserve the right to adjust the route if conditions warrant and cannot guarantee the hike will be completed by any specific time.
