Join us for a hike up Mt. Washington (6,288 ft) via the Lion Head Winter Route, covering a 7.5-mile roundtrip with a 4,255 ft elevation gain. Please be aware that this is a strenuous hike with extensive exposure above the tree line, where conditions can become extremely hazardous. It is recommended for experienced winter hikers who have the appropriate fitness level and gear. Participants should have completed similar hikes, ideally in comparable conditions. To address unforeseen challenges such as adverse weather, unacceptable trail conditions or excessive crowding, the planned trip destination, activity and/or meeting place and time may be modified. In that event, participants may elect to join in that activity or opt out.
