Overview

So, a combination series: A 3 hour (+/-) 'Trail Trace' hike, Trailwork (As required. If we see a smaller downed tree, we stop and cut it. Greenbriar? New growth, growing into the trail? Snip Snip! BIG downed tree? We log those for DCR to come out with a chainsaw.) Weekly, Mondays, 10 to 1ish. (We can't promise a return by exactly 1:00, because sometimes on the way back we will find 'something' that needs to be done, that we can't resist doing. But the goal is 3 hours, NOT 4 hours.) The plan is to work our way across the Blue Hills, in 3-hour increments, and covering all of the trails. (So, yes, 'out & backs' will be a required part of this.) Mileage and elevation will vary week to week, the more elevation, or trailwork, required the less distance we will cover. Typically 2 1/2 - 4 or so miles. Guaranteed fun, or your money cheerfully refunded. :-) Trailwork tools (clippers, handsaws) provided. Bring work gloves if you have them. There are no trail elves clearing the trails, it's mostly us volunteer trailworkers. If you like nice trails... come on along Space limited
