The hike will begin at the Brewster Recreational Park. We will hike south, crossing Freemans Way, onto the trails leading to Cahoon Pond. The trails are single track with a number of moderate hills. Trekking poles are suggested, water and sturdy hiking footwear needed. Cape Hikes has 2 sets of hiking poles that can be borrowed for this hike. Contact the hike leader before the hike so the leader can arrange to have them available for you to borrow. Driving Directions: From Rt-6 take Exit 85 and merge onto Rt-137 N. In 1.7 miles turn Right onto Freemans Way. In 1.6 miles turn left into the Brewster Recreational Park. Parking is ahead on the left. Unfortunately, last minute unexpected events, most often weather, forces us to cancel an event at the last minute. Please check hike postings on the day of the hike to insure it is still happening.
