Using the DEI Mission Statement as the foundation and inspiration, build on SEM's commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and further deepen the Chapter's integration of DEI values in practice. This includes, but is not limited to: Increase engagement and involvement with BIPOC and traditionally marginalized individuals and communities; develop new community relationships and networks to diversify outreach, participation, activities and membership; ensure SEM trainings and educational materials represent DEI values, perspectives and resources; grow the SEM DEI Committee; lead monthly SEM DEI Committee meetings (currently virtual and via Zoom); serve on and attend the AMC's DEI Regional Representatives Committee (once monthly); serve as a voting member of SEM EXCOM (once monthly for 10-months).
