Moose Hill is Mass Audubon's oldest and largest wildlife sanctuary in Sharon, Massachusetts encompassing forests, fields, and wetlands with diverse hiking trails and a red maple swamp boardwalk. The sanctuary consists of habitats including freshwater marsh, meadow, eskers and kettle holes. The hike will be 7 miles long with 600 feet of elevation. The trails will include ups and downs, with roots and rocks and could be slippery due to leaves at this time of the year. NOTE: This is not a beginner hike and the pace will be moderately paced depending on the group. Trail runners or hiking boots are highly recommended along with poles if you have them. Bring at least one quart of water, a packed lunch and trail snacks. The information sheet will be emailed a couple of days before the hike. No dogs are allowed on the hike. We will all hike together as a group and finish together as a group.
