Approximately 7 miles on various trails at People's taking the Agnes Bowen trail to Charles Pack up to the vistas on the Jessie Gerard Trail. This hike includes two separate steep climbs and descents over rocky terrain and beautiful views. The pace will be moderate with a snack and lunch breaks. We will meet at the entrance of the park on Greenwood and East River Road. The leader may change the trails taken based on conditions at the time. We will practice the silent mile. Meet at 9:00 and begin walking at 9:15am. Please dress in layers, wear hiking boots, and carry sufficient water and lunch/snacks. Poles are recommended. Limited to 10 hikers. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED BY EMAILING LEADER. Anyone who has not previously hiked on trip leader's hikes which require preregistration should provide information about their recent comparable hiking experience (average miles and terrain). Rain/snow cancels excursion.
