Overview

If you haven't hiked to Heublein Tower, you're missing a great hike with views and some elevation gain! We will hike a ~5.3 mile loop around Talcott Mountain State Park starting at Gale Pond, hike up to the Tower, enjoy the views, then head over to Hartford Reservoir Number 6 before heading back to our cars. Our pace will be around 2 mph. Please wear appropriate hiking footwear, water (1-2L), bring a lunch, and a snack. We will meet at 9:30 at Penwood State Park parking lot. Leashed dogs welcome.
