Our experienced AMC Guides will lead you on easy-to-moderate hikes to stunning vistas and frozen waterfalls near Mount Washington, while ensuring a supportive and fun group environment. You'll also learn essential winter skills to keep you safe and comfortable in the winter landscape, from traction techniques to gear tips. Monday Evening: Arrive at the AMC Highland Center Lodge and settle into your cozy accommodations. We'll begin with group introduction and overview of the weekend, followed by dinner with fellow adventurers. Tuesday: After a hearty breakfast at the lodge, head out with your guides on an easy-to-moderate hike through the snowy forests of Crawford Notch. Enjoy the beauty of frozen waterfalls and mountain views while learning about winter ecology and animal tracks. Our guides will share fascinating insights into the natural history of the region, helping you connect with the environment in new ways. Wednesday: After breakfast, we'll embark on another scenic hike, further exploring the winter wonderland of Crawford Notch. By now, you'll feel more confident in your winter hiking abilities and have a deeper appreciation for the natural world around you. We'll have lunch and wrap up and say our goodbyes in the afternoon.
