Escape into the beauty of the White Mountains for a weekend of cross-country skiing that's as fun as it is invigorating! Whether you're a first-time skier or an experienced enthusiast, this weekend is designed to offer a supportive and welcoming experience for women. Our knowledgeable, friendly guides will ensure that everyone feels confident, capable, and ready to enjoy the magic of the snowy trails. Friday Evening: We'll kick things off with a welcome and overview of the weekend, followed by dinner with the group. You'll meet fellow participants and get a chance to ask any questions as we set the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable weekend. Saturday: Start your day with a ski lesson tailored to your ability. Whether you're learning the basics or refining your technique, our expert instructors from Bretton Woods Nordic Center will provide personalized tips and guidance. Ski rentals and lessons are included in your weekend package, so you can jump right in! After the morning lesson, we'll break head out onto the beautiful, groomed trails of Bretton Woods located at the base of Mt Washington and the famed Presidential Range. Experience the stunning winter landscape as you glide along at your own pace with the guidance and support of our experienced AMC Guides. We'll take a break for a bagged lunch-whether indoors at a cabin or on the trail with the mountains as your backdrop. After an afternoon exploring the snowy forests and fields, we'll head back to the Highland Center for a cozy evening relaxing by the fire and recounting the day over dinner and drinks. Sunday: After a hearty breakfast, we'll return to the Nordic center for another day of skiing. Whether you're feeling stronger after Saturday's lesson or just want to take it easy, there's plenty of time to practice and enjoy the trails. We'll wrap up in the afternoon and return to Highland Center for wrap up and goodbyes. Join us for a weekend of relaxation, camaraderie, and cross-country skiing in the heart of New Hampshire's stunning White Mountains-an experience you'll remember long after the snow melts. Women's+ Adventures: These experiences are led by women, trans and non-binary folks for members of these marginalized genders. What is a marginalized gender? Trans men and women, non-binary, and two-spirit people, in addition to cisgender women, are members of this group who have been historically marginalized based on gender.
