Join us for a winter day hike on Mt. Adams (5793) and Mt Madison. (5367?) . We will hike 10 miles round trip with about 5,2oo ft of elevation gain. We will move at a moderate pace over varied terrain. Expect full winter conditions with cold, wind, deep snow. Please be an experienced winter hiker in good physical condition, with full winter gear including spikes, crampons, snowshoes, face protection and above-treeline wind layers. . To address unforeseen challenges such as adverse weather, unacceptable trail conditions or excessive crowding, the planned trip destination, activity and/or meeting place and time may be modified. In that event, participants may elect to join in that activity or opt out.
