Overview

This winter day-hike in the Franconia Range of the White Mountains is an out-and-back route to Mount Liberty,(4,459') and optionally Mount Flume (4,328'). Weather permitting, we will have 360 degree views of the Pemigewasset Wilderness, Cannon and the Kinsmans. To address unforeseen challenges such as adverse weather, unacceptable trail conditions or excessive crowding, the planned trip destination, activity and/or meeting place and time may be modified. In that event, participants may elect to join in that activity or opt out. The Backup plan will be to go for a smaller peak such as Mt. Pemi in the event of high winds. If the weather is so bad that is not an option the hike will cancel. Backup plan will go for a smaller peak such as Mt. Pemi in the event of high winds.
