Overview

This Cycles of Life Series will meet monthly, Sunday mornings, at the Broadmoor Massachusetts Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary in Natick, MA. Walking the same land and practicing in familiar sit spots offers the opportunity to become intimately attuned to how a particular environment changes with the cycles of seasons. We will experience the shifts in light and shadow, the migration of birds and the life spans of insects, native animals and plant life. We may be curious to notice the responsiveness of our own inner landscape to that through which we traverse and on which we rest. Depending on the weather we may meet indoors at the Visitor Center for our orientation and arrival mindfulness practice, then set out along the path for the day. If, it has rained or snowed and there is likely to be either ice or snow on the ground, please bring microspikes for your boots. Dress in layers and bring plenty of water for hydration.
