Overview-The AMC Valley Forge trail crew maintains and improves the most popular trails at Valley Forge National Historical Park. We will be meeting at the Chapel parking lot off of Route 23. We will hike the Chapel trail to clear fallen trees/branches, maintain/renovate existing water bars and check steps and pick up trash. This is a MODERATE hike while carrying tools and materials. Please wear long pants, sturdy hiking or work boots (no flimsy footwear, no open toes), bring water bottle and snack. Access to restroom at Wilson Rd parking lot. The park will provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - to include hard hats, work gloves, and safety glasses, as necessary. This event is subject to change or cancellation depending on the weather.
