Overview

This 3.5 mile lollipop loop on the white-blazed carriageway takes us to the park's heights for a fine view of the central Connecticut River Valley where we will stop for a lunch/snack break. The loop also passes picturesque outcrops and the elongated Upper Case Pond. Please bring layers, snacks and at least 2 liters of water plus wear sturdy shoes/hiking boots. Meet at the upper parking lot located in the recreation area on Spring Street at 9:45 for a 10:00 start.
