Enjoy a late autumn hike of about 9 miles on a wavy lollipop near Delaware Water Gap. We'll walk the AT SoBo to Mt. Minsi including stops to see the Delaware River, Mt. Tammany, and the beautiful state of New Jersey at Lookout Rock and at points near and just after Mt. Minsi's actual viewless summit. We'll then continue on the AT to Tott's Gap with a little side trip to a small cave. We then return by the woods road to its junction with the AT NoBo, continuing on AT to the Mt Minsi Fire Road, and down the fire road to a trail that leads to a waterfall, then climbs briefly to Table Rock, then off Table Rock down to Lake Lenape, and around the lake to our cars. WEAR BLAZE ORANGE BECAUSE IT IS A SUNDAY HUNTING DAY. Sturdy boots, proper clothing for changeable weather recommended and microspikes just in case. As always bring plenty of water and food. Hike is rated VIGOROUS for brisk pace and about 1,100 feet of elevation gain and loss. Registration is required. Meeting time and place given upon registration.
