Overview

New month, new day and new location! As we continue feasting during the holiday season, let's boogie and keep off unwanted pounds on this early morning (i.e., before work) hike at Upton State Forest. 5+ miles on easy-to-average terrain with a fast-to-very-fast (2-2.5+mph) pace. Hunting is allowed at Upton State Forest so wear BLAZE ORANGE. Bring water, snacks, a headlamp, a weighted pack, and poles to maximize the fitness benefits. As December progresses, snow may fall and the trails may become icy so be sure to tuck a pair of trail spikes in your pack. And, don't forget the coffee! Limited to 6, including the leader, fit and prepared hikers. Heavy rain cancels.
